Ben and Erin Napier lend content to Institute projects

The Napiers and Thaxtons enjoy an afternoon of telling good stories.
The Napiers and Thaxtons enjoy an afternoon of telling good stories.

Erin and Ben Napier of HGTV's Hometown recently sat for interviews with Amy and Anthony Thaxton for upcoming Institute for Southern Storytelling projects. Filmed in Laurel, the popular couple told stories and gave insight into several productions in the works now or in the future including our Eudora Welty, Willie Morris, Barry Hannah, and William Dunlap documentaries. They also shared the story of Ben's proposal to Erin in Oxford's renowned bookstore Square Books. Finally, the Napiers shared thoughts on the Institute and its importance in raising up future storytellers of the South. We are grateful to this generous duo and applaud their work in spreading the good news of Mississippi to the world through their program.
