Current Projects

The current model is for two to three projects to be in the works at the same time, with the ability to expand and enhance visibility by getting more products to market.

Working The Imagination In Fertile Southern Soil.

Documentary films, companion books, and a television series are currently in development with additional projects in the planning stages.

EUDORA

A major documentary film and companion book on the life and work of the beloved Southern writer Eudora Welty is currently airing on Mississippi Public Broadcasting and hopefully will air on nationwide PBS stations in the Spring.  A beautiful companion book is also available.

THE BICYCLE LOGS OF WALTER ANDERSON

In collaboration with John Anderson, Walter Anderson’s youngest son, the Institute will release The Bicycle Logs of Walter Anderson in Spring 2024. This book is a treasure in that it highlights the artist’s adventures “ashore” as he spent time traveling by bike through places like Texas and Florida and showcases much of Anderson’s art never seen before by the general public. The book is available in independent bookstores throughout Mississippi as well as WAMA (Walter Anderson Museum of Art) and Realizations (the Walter Anderson shop walterandersonart.com).
